Hello, I am
Guillaume MARREC
Computer Science engineering student at ENSIBS – École d'Ingénieurs, France.
I enjoy developing a wide range of projects: video games, mobile apps, web applications, and smaller experimental programs in Python. I like exploring new technologies and learning different approaches through both academic and personal projects.
Outside of computer science, I have a passion for cycling, video creation and editing, aviation, and generally discovering new topics. And of course, I also enjoy playing video games, purely for research purposes in game development, of course
Technical Skills
Front-End Development
I enjoy building intuitive and interactive user interfaces. I have worked with modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I have experience with frameworks such as:
- React and React Native for web and mobile application development
- Vue.js for component-based web apps
- Vanilla JavaScript for lighter, custom interfaces
For styling, I am comfortable using both pure CSS and utility-based frameworks such as TailwindCSS, as well as other CSS frameworks.
Back-End & Application Development
On the back-end side, I work with multiple languages and frameworks to build robust and scalable applications:
- Java with Spring Boot
- C#, including development inside Unity
- Node.js (TypeScript and JavaScript)
- PHP with the Laravel framework
- C++ and Python for various technical and script-oriented projects
Databases
I have solid experience with relational and non-relational databases:
- SQL: MySQL, SQLite, MariaDB, Oracle Database
- NoSQL: MongoDB, Neo4J
Specific Technical Domains
I have worked on medical image visualization on the web, notably using VTK.js for 3D and volumetric rendering. I have also developed machine learning models using PyTorch.
Tools & Work Environment
I use Git for version control and feel comfortable working in Linux environments. I also use Docker for containerized development and deployment workflows.
